It follows a note published on the day (02/03) in the website of the “Swedish  Space Corporation (SSC)” informing that the MASER 12  payload was finally integrated after smooth days of verification and checkout tests of the modules.

The motor will now be installed on the launcher.

On the fourth day after arrival of the campaign participants, the payload was finally integrated after smooth days of verification and checkout tests of the modules, according to planned schedule. The deep winter temperatures, down to -34 degrees C has contributed to the thrill of the campaign, as well as the search for and reception of goods from southern parts of Europe.

Today, on Friday 3^rd February, the motor will be installed on the launcher, and married to the payload on the following day, Saturday. First count-down day is February 9, as planned. In the meanwhile the campaign participants continue to enjoy the hospitaly and professional attitude of the Esrange Space Center Staff, including the tasty meals at the canteen.

Comentário: Pois é leitor, nos próximos dias o 13º lançamento de um foguete VSB-30 brasileiro deverá ocorrer (espera-se que mais uma vez de forma exitosa) do Centro Espacial de Esrange, na Suécia.  Trata-se da “Operação MASER 12” e o blog em breve fará um relatório sobre essa missão. Vale lembrar que até o momento 12 lançamentos do VSB-30 já foram realizados, sendo nove na Europa e três no Brasil e esse deverá ser o único lançamento desse foguete no ano de 2012, seja no Brasil ou na Europa.
